Residential Move-In
Move-In Day for new students is set for Thursday, August 27th, and it’s designed to be smooth, welcoming, and exciting! Each student will receive a time slot to check into their residence hall and unload belongings, based on their assigned building and floor.

To make the process as easy as possible, the Residence Life team—along with volunteers—will be on hand throughout the day with carts and dollies to help you get settled quickly.
Commuter Check-In
Commuter students will kick off their Neumann journey on Thursday, August 27th at 4 PM with a dedicated check-in experience designed just for them.

During check-in, you’ll pick up your student ID card, register your vehicle, and have the opportunity to obtain a locker. Later that night , you’ll join your first Commuter Community Meeting, led by fellow commuter student leaders—students who understand your experience and are here to support you. More details will be sent to your Neumann University email in August, so be sure to check in regularly!
Welcome BBQ
Join us for the Welcome BBQ hosted by the Division of Student Life at 5:00 PM on Thursday, August 27th—your official introduction to the Neumann community! New students and their families are invited to gather for great food, meaningful conversation, and a warm welcome from university leadership. This special event is a chance to celebrate the start of your Neumann journey, connect with other students and families, and hear about the exciting opportunities ahead this semester. Don’t miss this memorable kickoff to your college experience!
Knight Nation Kickoff Weekend Experience
The weekend experience is designed to fully prepare you for life at Neumann—academically, socially, and personally. From Thursday, August 27th through Sunday, August 30th. The sessions offered are essential for your success, and you won’t want to miss the chance to connect with classmates, meet faculty, and feel confident heading into your first week.

Please note: Three sessions are mandatory for all new students: Mission Day, "I said: You said" session, and Cogwell.
