




The Student Affairs Leadership Team is a dedicated group of experienced professional staff members responsible for fostering an inclusive and supportive campus environment. Through strategic planning and collaborative initiatives, they aim to ensure that every student matters and belongs by providing resources, support services, and a sense of community that contributes to each student's overall well-being and success at Neumann University. This team oversees several units within Student Affairs, including Community Standards, Commuter Life, Counseling Center, Residence Life, Orientation, Parent & Family Engagement, Student Activities, and Student Health Services. These leaders support student development, create a sense of belonging, and promote student retention. Whether it’s helping students find their place on campus, providing counseling services, or enforcing community standards, the Student Affairs team is committed to enhancing the holistic education experience for all students at Neumann University.
Dr. Sarah Williamson serves as the Senior Student Affairs Officer at Neumann University, where she leads with a student-first philosophy and a deep commitment to fostering a campus culture rooted in belonging, care, and Franciscan values. With over 17 years of experience in higher education, Dr. Williamson has guided transformative initiatives across student affairs, consistently centering student well-being and success. Her leadership spans key areas such as residence life, commuter life, health promotion, student conduct, and support for students of concern. She is also a driving force behind institutional belonging efforts, serving as one of Neumann’s Title IX Co-Coordinators.
Dr. Williamson brings a strong background in change management, having led cross-functional teams through strategic planning, program development, and continuous improvement efforts. Her experience includes grant writing and management, assessment and data-informed decision-making, and advising student organizations to enhance co-curricular engagement. In addition to her administrative leadership, she has taught at both the bachelor’s and master’s levels, helping students connect academic learning with real-world application. Through every aspect of her work, Dr. Williamson remains focused on creating supportive, student-centered environments where all learners can thrive.

Mr. Anthony Taylor brings a unique and deeply impactful blend of leadership, service, and student-centered support to his role at Neumann University. A retired U.S. Army veteran with nearly 20 years of service, Anthony has extensive experience in behavioral intervention and medical operations leadership—skills that translate powerfully into his work in higher education. Following his military career, Anthony spent five years in the secondary education setting as a history teacher and instructional coach, where he supported both student learning and the professional development of new educators.
At Neumann University, Anthony provides strategic leadership for the Office of Student Activities and Office of Student Well-Being, helping to cultivate a vibrant, inclusive, and supportive campus environment. He also co-leads the university’s CARE/BIT Team, playing a critical role in early intervention and coordinated support for students navigating personal, academic, or behavioral challenges.

Ms. Bonnie Yake serves as the Assistant Dean of Students for Counseling, Health, and Well-Being. Bonnie provides strategic vision and oversight for the Counseling Center and Student Health Services units at Neumann University. She has more than 10 years of experience in health promotion, career development, and clinical mental health counseling. She is committed to assisting students in identifying supports and developing skills to help them thrive at Neumann and beyond. With over a decade of experience in mental health and career counseling, Bonnie brings a holistic approach to student success—supporting wellness, personal growth, academic advising, and career development through every stage of the college journey.

Mr. Chadwick “Chad” Johnson serves as the Assistant Dean of Students for the Residence Life and Community Standards team at Neumann University. In this role, Chad provides strategic leadership for on-campus housing, residential education, and the university’s community standards efforts—all with a strong commitment to fostering a safe, inclusive, and supportive living-learning environment for students.
With over nine years of experience in student support, conduct, case management, and residential life, Chad brings a deep understanding of student development and holistic care. A proud double alumnus of Neumann University, he earned both his bachelor’s degree in Psychology and his master’s in Business and Organizational Leadership, grounding his work in both empathy and effective leadership.
