January 12, 2024 Day 1
Location: Check-in at the Mullen Communication Center lobby
Events are for new students and their families throughout the day. Please visit https://www.neumann.edu/orientation for the full schedule of events.
- Accessibility Services (Bachmann Main Building, Lower Level-Student Success Center): Any students who need to register for accommodations for the spring semester are welcome to drop in to complete the required paperwork or discuss their needs with a representative from the Accessibility Services Office.
- Q&A with TRIO-SSS (Bachmann Main Building, Rm. 025): This will allow students to discover how TRIO-SSS can enhance their Neumann experience! Come learn about TRIO-SSS, its history, and how to apply and be involved!
- ITR Help Desk 1:1 Meetings (Bachmann Main Building, G06): Students and their families can attend a 1-on-1 session with an IT tech. Students can go through Neumann University account setup and have their IT questions answered.
- Tutoring, Coaching, & the Writing Center, Oh My! (Bachmann Main Building, Rm. 030): Neumann offers comprehensive academic support services. Stop by to learn more about tutoring, the Writing Center, and academic coaching to support students during their time as Knights!
- Career & Professional Development (Bachmann Main Building, Rm. 019): Drop in to meet with the Career & Professional Development team for a 15-minute 1:1 meeting around career planning and resources.
- Business Office Drop-In Hours (Bachmann Main Building, Rm. 104): Stop by the Business Office on the 1st floor of the Bachmann Main Building, Rm. 104, to have questions answered around university tuition & fees, payment plans, and bills.
- Financial Aid Drop-In Hours: Stop by the Financial Aid Office on the 1st Floor of the Bachmann Main Building to have questions answered or a 1:1 meeting to discuss grants, loans, scholarships, and financial aid.
- Sports Medicine 1:1 Mtgs (Mirenda Center, Rm. 109): Stop by to speak with Athletic Training staff who offer sports medicine to all varsity and club sport student-athletes as well as provide NovaCare Physical Therapy Services to all Neumann students, faculty, and staff.
- Undergraduate Nursing Academic Advisement (Bachmann Main Building, Rm. 243): Stop by to speak with an academic advisor for new and transfer admitted students to the nursing major.
- Honors Program Drop-In Session (Bachmann Main Building, Rm. 163): Stop by to speak with faculty regarding the Honors Program at Neumann University and some of their unique offerings.
Location: McNichol Room, Bruder Life Center
After the new student orientation program, students can check in to their residence hall in the McNichol Room in the Bruder Life Center. Students will pick up their key and meet a Residence Life staff member who will escort them to their new room. Some move-in volunteers will be available to assist new students and their families as well as carts.

Cheer on the Neumann Women's Ice Hockey team as the Knights face off against Lebanon Valley College.

Cheer on the Neumann Men's Ice Hockey team as the Knights face off against Utica University.
Students and their families are welcome to explore our town of Aston and have dinner on their own to wrap up the day.
January 13, 2024 Day 2
Location: Bruder Dining Hall
Brunch is served in Bruder Dining Hall for students interested in eating on campus. This is the first meal that spring 2024 meal plans are in effect.

Cheer on the Neumann Men's Ice Hockey team as the Knights face off against Utica University.

Dinner is served in Bruder Dining Hall for students interested in eating on campus.

This semester's Student Involvement Fair theme is movies! Our student leaders are kicking off the celebration by showcasing their talents in a student leader lip sync competition. Help us judge which student group knows what it takes for Lights. Camera. Action. Involvement.

January 14, 2024 Day 3
Location: Bruder Dining Hall
Brunch is served in Bruder Dining Hall for students interested in eating on campus.

Location: Sacred Heart Chapel, Bachmann Main Building
Community members are invited to celebrate mass together before the school year starts. Student leaders will be recognized at mass.
January 15, 2024 Day 4
Brunch is served in Bruder Dining Hall for students interested in eating on campus.
Students are invited to participate in an event for Kids Against Hunger United’s Million Meal Pack-a-Thon as part of MLK Day. Students must register to participate in the event via the link below.
Location: Bus departs from Morgan Circle outside of the Bachmann Main Building at 12pm

All residential students will meet with their Resident Assistants and Graduate Hall Directors to review expectations, safety, and security information for the spring 2024 semester. Residential students will also have the opportunity to build connections with other community members.
This is a required event for all residential students (new & returning).
Location: Resident Assistants will post location information in each community.
January 16, 2024 Day 5
Location: Campus Ministry Center, 1st Floor Bachmann Main Building
Come learn more about Campus Ministry and the events offered during the spring semester. There will be snacks, coffee, and community!

Join us at the movie-themed Spring 2024 Involvement Fair to explore clubs, organizations, student employment opportunities, and university offices while enjoying free Dip 'n Dots and meeting Paws for People therapy animals!

January 18, 2024 Day 7

Join the Knights Programming Board for their first movie night of the semester, featuring movie candy, popcorn, drinks, and more! The movie is Five Nights at Freddy's.

Black Student Union invites students to try out as participant for their annual spring fashion show. Students are requested to wear black to audition.
January 19, 2024 Day 8
Rescheduled to Wednesday, January 24th from 12:30pm-1:30pm in the Commuter Student Lounge.
Location: Commuter Student Lounge, Lower Level Bachmann Main Building across from 044
Commuter students are invited to a welcome back social where they can connect with other commuter students and mingle with various Student Affairs staff to learn about resources available for commuter students. Winners of Knights on the Road Neumann trivia will have the chance to win dining hall meal vouchers, Neumann swag, and more!

Rescheduled to Friday, January 26th from 3pm-5pm in the Bruder Gym.

Kick off the spring 2024 semester with a welcome-back bash where students can meet new students on campus or reconnect with friends after winter break. The celebration includes games and giveaways. Students who complete the Dining Services feedback survey at the event will have the opportunity to enjoy treats from a specialty food truck!
