orientation part two experience & first knights

This is your time. Your place. Your beginning. Let’s make it unforgettable!

what to expect during orientation part two

Part Two Orientation at Neumann University is more than just a schedule of events—it’s your launchpad into college life. This is your chance to meet new friends, explore your campus, and discover how you’ll make your mark as a Knight.

Starting on Wednesday, August 20, Orientation kicks off with Move-In Day for residential students and a Commuter Check-In designed to help everyone feel at home. That evening, we bring everyone together—students, families, and staff—for a Welcome BBQ hosted by Dr. & Mrs. Domes that sets the tone for the supportive, tight-knit community you’re now a part of.

Over the next few days, you’ll dive into interactive sessions that cover everything from navigating your classes to getting involved on campus. These sessions run from approximately 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM and are designed to give you the tools, confidence, and connections you need to thrive at Neumann.

But it’s not all business—each evening brings fun, optional social events where you can unwind and bond with your classmates. Think off-campus adventures, intramural games, themed socials, and more as part of our First Knights programming! These are the moments where friendships are formed and memories are made.

Orientation wraps up on Sunday, August 24, just in time for classes to begin on Monday. By then, you won’t just know your way around—you’ll feel like you belong.

Why you don’t want to miss it:

  • Meet the people who’ll be part of your college journey
  • Get a head start on navigating campus life
  • Discover resources that will support your success
  • Start building your Neumann story from day one
