Meet Our Neumann Navigators!
The Admissions Office has more than 20 tour guides who navigate our visitors around campus, introduce them to members of Neumann’s community, and answer questions about what it’s like being a Neumann student. We’ve asked them to answer a few questions and hope that you enjoy their answers!

If you could be a cereal, which would you be and why?
If I were a cereal I would be Captin Crunch Berries, because there are a few colored berries in the bunch, and they stand out among the rest of the cereal and I am a person that stands out by my personality.
If you could be a Disney character which one would you be and why?
Princess Tiana, because she didn't give up no matter what the situation was to pursue her dreams, and that's what I believe in.
If you could have dinner with anyone in the world (past and present), who would it be and what would you ask them?
Dr. Martin Luther King Jr, and I would ask him how could I impact the world, and make such a change as he did.

Why did you choose Neumann?
I chose Neumann because I felt a strong sense of community, and I love the Franciscan values.

I creep all day, every day, and I proudly admit it!

What is your favorite activity to do?
My favorite activity is to play golf with my Dad, he taught me how to play when I was 5, and I have been playing for fifteen years.
If you could have dinner with anyone in the world (past and present), who would it be and what would you ask them?
If I could have dinner with anyone it would have to be Ben Franklin. I think I would just sit and listen to what he has to say because I feel like he had so much intellect.
What is one thing on your bucket list that you want to complete?
One thing on my bucket list that I want to complete is getting my pilot's license.

Princess Diana - I would ask her what's it like to be a princess and does she think I have what it takes.

What is your favorite sport/sports team?
My favorite sports team is the Philadelphia Phillies. I have had season tickets since I was born, and I was at my first game when I was only 3 months old.
If you could be a Disney character which one would you be and why?
If I could be a Disney character I would be Cinderella because even though she did not have the easiest life growing up, she still got the fairy tale ending.
Describe your perfect day
My perfect day would be spending the day at the beach with my family and close friends.

Hockey is my favorite sport, but my favorite team is the Philadelphia Phillies. Weird, huh?Name one CRAZY thing about yourself?
When I eat M&Ms I have to sort them by color and into even numbered groups. The odd ones get eaten first, and then each color group gets eaten individually.
Who is your favorite Neumann staff member?
Dr. Mirenda because she has a genuine love for her profession, this university, and the people who are a part of Neumann. She is always willing to stop and talk to you and really listens to what we have to say

Why did you choose Neumann?
I chose to go to Neumann because I wanted to go to a small school where I could focus on my studies but still have fun and meet new people.
If you could be a Disney character which one would you be and why?
If I could be a Disney character I would be Ariel because she’s a mermaid. I wish I could be a mermaid; they have awesome hair and they’re great swimmers!
What is one thing on your bucket list that you want to complete?
One thing on my bucket list is that I want to finish a marathon before I turn 25.

What is your favorite food?
Crabs! Born in Maryland, and I could sit and pick crabs for hours. I never get tired of them.
If you could change one thing in the world what would it be?
Everyone would have someone to keep them company. I hate seeing people alone, and I never want to allow anyone to feel lonely.
Where is your favorite place to shop?
Honestly, places like Ross and TJ Max. You just never know what kind of deal you are going to find in there, and you can really find everything there.

Why did you choose Neumann?
I chose Neumann because of its superior nursing program and reputation. I was also attracted to its smaller class sizes which allows for more attention to be paid toward each student. I was impressed by all the opportunities Neumann has to offer, especially the Ministry Center because religion is a large part of who I am.
If you could be a Disney character which one would you be and why?
If I could be any Disney character, I would choose to be Rapunzel from Tangled. She has magic hair that glows when she sings, plus she sings really well. She gets to experience the world from a different point of view and cherishes every aspect of nature and life in general, which I tend to overlook. In addition, she has a pet chameleon! Who wouldn't want to be her?
What is your favorite food?
My favorite food is the Honey BBQ Chicken Supermelt from Friendly's - crispy chicken tenders with BBQ sauce, ranch dressing, and melted cheese on grilled sourdough bread. Mmm, I get hungry just thinking about it! It comes with french fries and a 'happy ending' sundae . . . what more could I ask for?

Which character would you be in a movie?
I would probably be Clark Griswold from the National Lampoon's Vacation movies. Many of my friends said they could see me when I am older, as "that dad" who drags his family out to the forest to cut down the family Christmas tree or do the other crazy things Clark Griswold does!

I can name all of the U.S. states, their capital cities, their nicknames, and all of the countries in the world.

Which NASCAR driver would you want to drive with for one day?
I would want to drive with Jeff Gordon. I think it is awesome that he races for charitable causes and that he has his own charity foundation that helps children in need!
What is your favorite food?
I love anything Italian! I was born and raised around my big Italian family, so anything my mom cooks is delicious!
What is your biggest fear?
My biggest fear to this day is clowns; they creep me out, and I am 100% petrified of them!

What is your biggest fear?
My biggest fear is heights. I am so afraid of heights that I tend to get nervous going up and down escalators. I tend to lean forward a bit on the way up because I am afraid that I may fall backwards.
If you could be a Disney character which one would you be and why?
If I could be a Disney character I would be Ariel because she gets the best of both worlds, living on land and on sea. I think it would be a good experience to be able to see both sides.
Why did you choose Neumann?
I chose Neumann because it is small, people are friendly, and it is a home away from home.
