MOVE-IN DATES & DETAILS

Summer housing ends on Sunday, August 3rd, at 10 p.m. Summer residents interested in residing on campus in August must have a fall housing assignment. Summer-to-fall transition housing is available at an additional cost. Students may volunteer for two (2) shifts during the Drop n' Go program or new student move-in day instead of paying the transition housing fee. Students participating in summer-to-fall transition housing can move into their fall housing assignments beginning August 8th after 12pm and must be fully moved out of their summer housing assignment by 9am August 11th.

Students not interested in summer-to-fall transition housing must move out of their summer housing assignment by 10pm on August 3rd and will check-in during their specific move-in time later in August. More information will be sent via email at the end of July.

Student-athletes on a fall team will move in between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. on Friday, August 15th, to participate in their pre-season program. Check-in will take place in the atrium in the Mirenda Center. Returning students will pick up their residence hall room key during check-in. New students will pick up their residence hall key and student ID once it is verified that they have completed their new student check-in items. Students with outstanding items must resolve them on campus before checking into their residence halls. There is no additional cost for their early arrival.

After checking in at the Mirenda Center, students will proceed to their residence hall. Parking is permitted in any spot not labeled 'employee' or 'faculty/staff'. Students and their guests are not permitted to park in the fire lanes outside their buildings to unload.

Residence Life staff will be available at the Cunningham Hall, Glen Riddle Hall, Flynn Hall, O'Neill Hall, and Buoni Apartments desks to assist with cart sign-out, answer any questions, and help students locate their rooms.

Students may sign up for a one-hour Drop & Go time slot on Thursday, August 14th from 3pm-5pm, Friday, August 15th from 3pm-7pm, or Saturday, August 16th from 9am-12pm. This is a great option for students to drop off one (1) car of their belongings and see their actual residence hall room before move-in day.

Students who have not completed all of their checklist items prior to the drop n' go date, including resolving any needs with their bills and financial, will not be permitted to check into their residence hall until these items are resolved.
