Welcome

As one of our newest Knights...welcome to Neumann University! This page is filled with answers to frequently asked questions by new students and their families. We hope it will be helpful to you as you transition to our new community. If you have a question that is not listed here, please email us at orientation@neumann.edu and we would be happy to help you!

Spring orientation is a required program for new students and their families before the spring semester starts. Throughout the day, students will have the opportunity to learn more about Neumann, the resources available to students and connect with community members who are here to help students thrive as Knights. Following the formal spring orientation program, students can move into the residence halls if they are new students, as well as drop-in to various resources to get their questions answered before leaving campus for the day.

New students have the opportunity to participate in a series of events throughout the weekend and the first week of school as part of the campus' Welcome Week activities. Students can participate in a service project, learn more about student organizations at our Involvement Fair, attend an athletic game, and even participate in some fun social events to kick off the semester. More information will be shared at the closing session of spring, on social media, and via email throughout the first week of the semester.

New students who are unable to attend new student orientation should email orientation@neumann.edu. Students unable to attend will be invited to meet with a member of the Student Affairs team during the first week of the semester to review resources and get them connected on campus.

As your student embarks on their journey at Neumann, your support plays a pivotal role in their success. During this crucial first semester, maintaining open lines of communication, encouraging self-advocacy, and fostering a sense of belonging can significantly contribute to their positive collegiate experience. Your partnership with us ensures a smooth transition, and we look forward to working together to cultivate a nurturing and empowering environment for your student's growth and achievement. Parents and families can learn more about Neumann University during the breakout sessions at Spring Orientation as well as on our Parent & Family resource page.
