Teligent Pharma, Inc., formerly known as IGI Labs, in Buena, NJ, has become the home for three local Neumann University alums: Milton Broom ’16, Tiffany Connelly ’14, and Joseph Safaryn ’15.

Milton works as a service associate with clients and vendors to assure constant communication between Teligent and their affiliates. Tiffany works in the Regulatory Affairs Department helping to handle FDA responses and completing scientific reports for generic and brand drug products. Joseph is an analytical scientist, testing topical drugs that are manufactured on site.

Teligent has already facilitated many workshops, hands-on experiences, and growth opportunities for the three alumni since the beginnings of their post-Neumann careers, with more on the horizon.

On June 24, 2016, Teligent Pharma, Inc. held its Facility Expansion Groundbreaking Ceremony to celebrate the company’s biggest project yet.

Peter Gallagher, vice president of Teligent and head of expansion, announced the site’s newest addition which will increase facility space over 300% for a total of nearly 110,000 square feet upon its completion in 2017. The construction in whole will provide $78M in new economic activity in the South Jersey area along with employment equivalent to 454 annual jobs.

CEO Jason Grenfell-Gardner and New Jersey Lieutenant Governor Kim Guadagno joined in the celebration along with several members of the South Jersey community and over 100 of Teligent’s employees, including Milton, Tiffany, and Joseph. They were able to interact with New Jersey officials and some of the most innovative minds in the state’s pharmaceutical industry.

“I love being part of a company that is dedicated to scientific growth and development. It encourages me to grow too,” said Tiffany.
